My Desert Jack Rabbit Gourd Shard Necklace Set is a tribute to the Southwest desert, inspired by my home state of Arizona. During my early morning desert treks, I often catch sight of these swift creatures hopping in and out of the rocks, their large ears visible as they jump. I hand-burned an image of the rabbit on an oval shard measuring approximately four inches by four and a half inches. The design features a beloved Southwest pottery symbol painted in brown and a metallic gold background representing the bright morning sun. I sourced the stones from a rock shop in Quartzsite, Arizona. I feel they make a perfect addition to this necklace. To enhance the overall aesthetic, I incorporated gold metal beads and small shiny copper beads to echo the various brown tones in the piece.

The antique brass tone chain measures about eleven inches, allowing the necklace to rest comfortably on your chest without causing any discomfort.
