Creating this design was a labor of love. I chose a stylistic approach, featuring a simple image of a bird in motion. After carefully wood-burning the lines, I painted the bird copper and added color only to the wing. I textured the turquoise sky behind him and added stylistic brown walking trails often found in our deserts. Each step was a meticulous process, ensuring that each necklace set is a unique piece of art.

The shard measures about three inches and is weightless. The copper-toned chain elegantly hangs about eleven inches from your neck. I added more copper beads, and then I chose blue turquoise str beads to pick up the same color in the shard. Lastly, I added a star dangle at the bottom of the shard.
