Take a look at my Summer Hummingbird  Gourd Shard Necklace Set! I designed this piece to complement a pretty summer dress or a capri outfit. I used my favorite color combination of blue, green, and purple because I always feel bold when wearing them.

The round shard measures approximately four inches, and the dangle hangs about two inches. Best of all, it is weightless! And you will turn heads when you wear this statement piece!

I began by wood-burning the image of a bird in flight and created geometric shapes and patterns that evoke the reflections in a tropical forest with sunlight streaming through the leaves. I chose large, round, metallic gold flat beads because they remind me of the sun. I added my favorite purple and turquoise beads to enhance the gold-toned chain.

The necklace hangs about eleven inches from your neck. To complete the set, I included matching earrings that perfectly complement the necklace, helping you make a striking jewelry statement.
