My Deco Chevron Gourd Shard Necklace Set started with the lady in the center! She is a button I saw in an antique shop, and I immediately saw her on a gourd with an Art Deco shape.

 The diamond-shaped shard measures about four inches. Part of the shard has a shiny surface of gold leaf foil. I used copper and turquoise to give it a sense of importance. The gold-tone chain hangs about 11 inches from the neck. The chain and earrings add to the statement. I used diamond copper-shaped and shiny black beads with minor copper and turquoise beads to enhance the chain. Even the earring picks up the theme!
