Grand Quail Gourd Shard Necklace

Celebrate the charm of the Southwest with the Grand Quail Gourd Shard Necklace, a handcrafted wearable work of art inspired by one of the desert’s most beloved birds. Measuring approximately 4 x 2 inches, this distinctive gourd shard features a beautifully wood-burned stylized quail highlighted with dramatic white acrylic accents that bring the design to life. A special detail sets this necklace apart—the quail’s signature head feather is cut out and backed with delicate see-through netting, adding depth and artistic interest. The rich gourd-dye background and carefully wood-burned edge lines beautifully frame the bird, creating a striking contrast that showcases the gourd’s natural beauty.

The silver-tone chain hangs about 10 inches from the neck and is accented with elegant white glass beads and textured silver-tone flat beads. A unique black bead dangles gracefully from the bottom of the shard, adding movement and a finishing touch to this one-of-a-kind design.

The shard is on a silver-tone chain that will hang the shard about eleven inches from your neck. I also added some lovely black beads, along with a few silver spacer beads and some glass circle beads. For extra flair, I added the same beads as a dangle and also created the earrings to match.
